ModRipple respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
No personal data is collected by ModRipple. All mod processing happens entirely in your browser. Your .jar files are never uploaded to any server — they stay on your device.
ModRipple queries public APIs from Modrinth and CurseForge to check for mod updates. These requests include:
No identifying information (IP addresses, browser fingerprints, cookies) is stored or shared by us. Third-party APIs may have their own privacy policies.
If you choose to create an account via Google or GitHub OAuth, your email address and name are stored locally in your browser for session purposes only. We do not operate a backend server — authentication is simulated client-side in this demo version.
ModRipple does not use tracking cookies. It may use localStorage to remember your preferences (like theme or selected loader) if implemented in future versions.
ModRipple does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. All processing is local and anonymous.
Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of ModRipple constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
